Yea this is the right answer if OP really wants to shoot 357. Any of the lighter guns will have a ton of recoil and will not be fun to shoot at the range. Sp101 isn't the lightest compact out there, but its the best for 357. If OP wanted to do 38+p, you can go smaller with something like an LCR or a J frame.
