It had 10.5 to one, but a fairly long cam (248-258 on 108) when I advanced it to 8 degrees total, It picked up power everywhere from 4000 to 7200. It was cranking 185 before, and it when up to 197-198 with four degrees more. It seems the 10-11 to one engines might be the ones that like the extra cam advance.
