Here is what I've done so far. Replaced: cap & rotor, plugs, wires, thermostat, heater core, blower (from blazer), valve cover gasket, and the catalytic convertor.

Came out really good, and still holding up today. Dirt and mud wash right off. The easiest thing to do seems to be to replace the ashtray with another switch bezel complete with 12v power outlet. I'd need a part number on the bezel itself if anybody has it. Here's a custom made 6 switch panel with 2 outlets but they want $180 for it.

Use the existing housing and try to find a camera that will match lenses. Or hollow out the existing factory camera (separate part from the housing) and "pot" a new camera in its place.
