I cannot find the wot timing spec anywhere. I have looked many times on the net and here with no luck. What I am seeing is cranking at wot with the timer base rubber stop hitting it's stop is 21 degrees. Of course at wot this should equate to 25 degrees.

To get the engine out of quick start disconnect the white/black wire and ground the white/black coming from the power pack. This will put the engine into normal operation. To disable the slow mode just disconnect the tan wire.

Thats the idle timing adjustment. If it won't come down when you back off the adjustment, some models have a screw on the port side under the flywheel. Turn the screw in to set the idle down. D. The screw is below the one that is the handle. The one with the handle is for idle adjustment. No you can do this with the prop on. You won't have to go up to full throttle about 2500-3000 rpms. Look at the second pic in the link I posted B & C are thre timing advance screw. In the top pic is the timing screw marked in red.
