I’ve been separating marbles for about a month now. I’m starting to think I’m in over my head! Thanks again! Keep at it! It took me about seven months to be able to ID mibs accurately beyond Marble King, Pelt (Rainbos and slags only, still struggle with multicolor swirls and patches), and Vitro... But I still struggle with swirls, of course.

This isn't a peltier but a "Christensen Submarine" I show it because it illustrates so well what I mean by the "outside" colors "diving" into the interior of the marble. Something I see as the true definition being lost in translation (stretched) somewhere. You can clearly see the outside colors diving and swirling in & around the transparent ...

Always look at the pattern and cut lines as well as surface attributes found on Mexican fast made marbles. Old Peltier marbles are perfect surfaces lacking the irregular surface and cold rolls of a normal Vacor. Out of a bag of 50, one is lucky to find 5 perfect examples lacking surface imperfections. Think archives...
