Have deleted the swtor installation folder and all its files and redownload and installed the game twice, but still the same.

Strangely enough, even though Star Wars is a hugely popular franchise, there's not a great deal of info/support for playing their games on a Steam Deck, and a large amount of them either have compatibility ratings of "Unknown" or "Unsupported".
