Most were oem applications turbo setups where people ditch gaskets and hope for the best with RTV. Depends on the rpm and hp you're trying to run. The CNC BB3Xtra flows decent air and would be a good choice if you're looking for a decent power band. Another good choice would be the Dart 355 CNC. Bigger heads will flow more air and work better at higher rpm but may not make better power. JMO.

A crappy torque convertor can make the best turbo seem sluggish to spool... but at 20psi I would expect a bit more power especially torque. For 700-900 hp spend the money on a good converter. You can get a 9.5 that you can't break for $950. Spend $400-500 for the cheaper converter and your rolling the dice on it lasting at that kind of power.
