The newer ones can be rarely found randomly while pulsing, or with an anomaly detector. The guaranteed way is to buy a beacon from a scrap dealer, or claim 1 free beacon per week from Helios at the anomaly. There are two kinds of Derelict Freighters, there’s destroyed ones you find randomly in space.
