I have a 350 chevy engine that has the Edelbrock top end package with the 7102 cam. The previous owner installed a Pete Jackson gear drive and used the 2 degree retard insert for some reason. What should the result be by using the 2 degree retard versus being set a 0 degree. The engine is not very responsive at low end.
