Not sure why anyone would put a 4" lift and run 33" tires that would fit on a stock truck. Unless they want to run some ridiculous offset wheel maybe. Because not everyone likes stuffing as much tire as they can on the smallest level. Unless you're running 275/60/20s, they're not fitting on a stock truck anyways.There's not that much difference in height anyway. RC's 2.5" lift is more like 3.5" and their 6" is more like 4.5". The 4" lift just has better brackets than the 2.5. i heard the 2 1/2 was good for clearance but personally i like the 4" lift with 33's it looks real good and have a little more room to flex.

Mar 10, 2023 · Theoretically the OEM shocks won't control the extra tire weight as well as with the OEM tires. Practically, no need to change shocks unless you want to or feel the need to. Some people say the OEM shocks are junk; I find no issues with 33" tires on OEM FX4 Sport shocks at 8 years old and 45k miles.
