Yeah personally I would absolutely not touch master mode until you’ve beaten the game at least once, and preferably on expert mode. The combination of all seed's niche's together does make up for it. I havn't tried the remix seed, but I think it could fit for a similair, although a bit less diverse, experience.

Got the Eye of Cthulu after a few tries (and like 10 times it spawned and killed me), and the Slime King after quite a lot of attempts. Grey Zapinator with Jungle armor has done the trick for those two. Yeah, I'm on my second getfixedboi playthrough and this issue sucks... they're all in the mushroom layer, where you have to deal with sometimes-hard-to-see, burn-on-contact, lava-dropping Crispy Honey Blocks EVERYWHERE. They also don't seem very common. Trying to find them when they're relevant is a huge hassle.
