N330 is not a "slow" burning powder, like Accurate #7, or Ramshot True Blue, or Silhouette, or VV 3N37. There is N340, N350, 3N37 and 3N38 all better choices for 9MM Major for example. All better. BUT, N330 CAN make major, using 5" barrel, and hit 160+PF. That is way above book max, we don't recommend, but then again, so is every single MAJOR load.Also, if your going for specifically USPSA loads, MOST of us w/9mm prefer a 147gr, traveling >850 fps this is the floor for minor power factor, but alot of us also shoot 125gr going >1000fps. Used a bunch years ago not so much any more just too dirty for my taste. I have loaded pretty near every powder for 9MM and most are good to great. IMO Vit 3N37 is the best and cleanest for 115/124 9MM followed by Vit N350 and CFE pistol. Gives some of the highest velocities with less pressure/recoil.
