So far I have replaced the spark plugs, HT leads, plug caps, filter and also the inlet rubber boots on the injectors as they were cracked and perished. The problem doesn't start until the engine is warm, obviously when cold there is more petrol being put into the cylinders.

PLEASE HELP! V-Star 1300 engine problems. I have a 2007 Yamaha V-star 1300 Custom. It starts up fine and shifts fine, but when I'm releasing the clutch it makes a horrible grinding noise. I've checked the oil level and made sure the bike's in gear, the grinding doesn't happen in Neutral but in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd it's happening consistently. Most carbs are setup for use with an air filter and to apply a certain amount if gas to that amount of air coming through said filter.
