To be fair aim assist is different in MW3 than it was in MW2. The difference between the 4 presets especially. Normal and Black Ops are virtually identical now, same with focusing and precision. If there is any difference between say Normal and Black Ops, it's so small that saying it "feels better" is most likely placebo.

Aim assist was good in Black ops 3 and a lot of people cried about it. I am mouse and kb but I have played bo3 with controller when I wanted to lounge on the couch.
