I will be down in Hatteras the last week of July and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on who would be good to do some wreck fishing with. It will be 4-5 guys, and we were hoping to do some bottom jigging, preferrably on light tackle for amberjack or whatever else will bite.If that's still the case then aluminum butts are the way to go, period. For $20-40 less a rod you can go with slick butts. You will gain some stability with the aluminum butts and certainly longevity.
