I have both a Nova and a 500. The 500 is a very stout gun, the stock plastic grips do have a little wobble but the wood upgrade is solid. I do love my Nova though, the only down sides to me are the safely and action release are awkward compared to the 500 and the foregrip on the Nova feels super light weight and cheap.

Benelli will have better quality control, Mossberg has more aftermarket support and parts/barrels will be easier to find. Get the one you like more or the best deal.
