I have repaired my game through the quick launcher, after reinstalling reshade the crashing continued with the same errors. Was working perfectly fine before the game had an update. I updated everything and tried again but im still have the same issue ... 1. Identify your game folder, and open it in Windows Explorer. This is where you installed FFXIV. It contains ffxiv_dx11.exe. If you can't find it, look at the FAQ. 2. Back up the C:\Program Files\GShade\gshade-shaders and game\gshade-presets folder. This contains GShade's shaders and presets, obviously. The correct version of ReShade was applied to the DX11 client, using the most recent version of ReShade. I did not select the option to install any presets when installing ReShade. I do not believe any overlays or similar programs are enabled, but I have posted a list of processes running just in case I missed something . Personally I use Colourfulness 1.5 because I think it looks to pale. Clarity 3-4 with LumaSharpen 0.7 to get more contrast between colors. AdaptiveSharpen 0.2 with FXAA 0.25 for better edges. Unfortunately the text may look a little weird.

I have used Stormshade/Reshade for years and have no issues. It is a graphics enhancer. It gives you no advantages over other players and just makes the game pretty and allows for amazing looking screenshots. Right now it's safe to use, but nothing stops that guy from making it unsafe again, as very recently he still defends his actions and sees himself as having done nothing wrong, so he'll likely do it again in the future. When I open Reshade and select ffxiv_dx11.exe then hit Next, it says it's Analyzing Executable then immediately crashes.
