With it parked, just idling, no issues. I'm going to take it to the shop later today or Monday. Just looking for thoughts if anyone has seen this issue.

Hopefully this will fix it. 1700 miles is ridiculous for a thermostat to go bad, but it does happen. X2, that problem is typically caused by a bad fan clutch causing the fan to not pull enough air through the radiator when you're idling/sitting still.
