I have read through the forums here looking for what everyone's preference is for manufacturer oil filters. The choices are plenty, but I also know that many are made by a few companies and sold under a different name. My understanding is that owning of an ecodiesel could get very expensive and frustrating. I would strongly consider solid extended warranty. That said, there is number of people that have been extremely happy with with the trucks. But, certainly more miss than hit with eco's vs hemi's and pentastars. Just following up on this. The engine is apart, and the #2 and 3 mains are spun. These cranks have a very small service range (2.9110"-2.9117"- that's less than 0.001"), so spun bearings are definitely going ruin it unless it's caught and shut off immediately.
