I've been thru the Settings - System - Remote option but that did not work. But the remote doesn’t get recognized by the receiver. (I ensured that the slip was removed and batteries are inserted correctly) I see blue light on the top of the remote blinking, while the receiver box showing blue solid light and red blinking light.

Try removing the plug in cable from bottom of Gemini Air receiver behind tv. I usually wait about 10 minutes then plug it back in. It lets the receiver cool down.
