The long anticipated Extreme Flight 78" Extra 300 has finally been shipped. Mine arrived this afternoon. Here in San Diego we have a precision flying series called EMAC which is limited to electric powered planes. The EF 78" Extra 300 seemed like the perfect platform for this series, so a number of us did a group buy.Speed Controller: Electrifly Silver Series 35 amp. Prop: 10-7 E to 11-7E APC. Battery: 11.1V (3s) 1200- 2200 mAh lipo. BUILDING: As I got everything out and ready to build, I noticed that the instruction manual looked to have a lot of pages in it so I expected a build that would take some time. Wrong!The 3W 150's are more powerful than the DA 150 -- with the same prop about 150 - 250RPM for the 'standard' 150, about 250-350 for the SS series and about 500+ for the TOC series (even more the QS). The 3W 157 absolutely blows them all out of the water -- close to 700-900 RPM stronger than the DA depending on the prop.Adjust the low end needle until the "four cycling" stops. Now lower the throttle more until it "four cycles" again, and adjust the low end again. Keep doing this until you reach full idle. Now, from full idle begin to throttle up until the engine starts to bog or hesitate.2,692 Posts. A good canister is basically a big muffler. What you should see is a large reduction in exhaust noise with very little effect on performance. Yes you will add weight over stock mufflers but you get to keep your flying fields. The only way you can clog our canisters is fill them full of sand.

The Gp123 is 200 grams lighter than the Dle 130, So that is something to consider if going for a super light weight setup. I dont feel from what i have seen that the 130 will have any more power than the Gp, Especially as is got more weight on it.
