Elden Ring is their previous games, in a blender, with no thought to the combat or mechanics, and ground to a fine sludge. Performance at launch (and to this day) is absolutely inexcusable. This game is clearly a Playstation 4 designed game, ported to PS5/XSX and PC and the results were abysmal.

The most important part of the game, the combat system, is just absolute trash.
