They are not legit. I booked through traveluro for family weekend for my daughters college. All of the hotels were sold out and I found one through travel uro. The price seemed pretty typical for the hotel we were looking at. Once we got to the hotel they had no reservation and no money from the company. Apr 3, 2021 · Initiated dispute with my credit card company CitiBank, unfortunately Citibank said that Traveluro was unwilling to refund, and it could not do anything! Traveleuro is a total scam, and CitiBank is disappointing! Not sure how many victims are needed for Google and CitiBank to declare Traveluro a scam. Date of experience: October 13, 2021 Traveluro would not allow me to cancel a hotel reservation, despite willing to forgo a re-fund. HORRIBLE! What sort of company refuses to cancel a service that you have already paid for & request no refund for. I’ll never book with Traveluro again - and you shouldn’t either. The top Google search associated with Traveluro is “is Traveluro a scam?” and the consensus seems to be: yeah, basically. The thing is that they take your money in exchange for rooms that may not actually be available (but you won’t find that out until later!) Traveluro caused double payment - Traveluro’s credit card declined. TLDR Traveluro credit card declined so I was double charged for my hotel stay booked thru them.
