They are definitely better, out of the box, than any Colt Govt, Combat Commander, and Delta Elite 1911's that I have ever owned. But, there certainly are better 1911's than Colt or Kimber.

It all comes down to which looks better to you. I think the Eclipse is the best looking Kimber. I don't care a lot for the scaling on the Raptors, but it all comes down to personal opinion.
