There might be a few minor changes from model to model, but while researching balers before trading up to my 740A, I never found anything to make one more desirable than the next.I copied/pasted 1 solution that might address your balers problem. Another possible cause is the net is not being cut cleanly leaving a long tail which the hay or rolls can catch and start wrapping. You need two things to get a good cut on the net. New Holland 630 round baler hay jams. Help. I have been baling this afternoon, big wind rows, dry 1st cutting, moving slow. About half way into baling the hay I had down with no problems. Then almost a complete bale in the baler had hay feed between the pivot roll and belts so much that it sheared the PTO shaft shear pin.

It is possible when continuing to feed hay after the auto wrap trips for the twine to be pushed over the knife cross rod instead of going to the bottom of the bale. The twine can still start, but won't cut. You need a new gauge. be sure when you get the gauge to also get the large washer to fit over the gauge.
