The sfar is really a niche AR10. If you want something lightweight but possibly more fragile and higher recoil then that’s for you. Remember Ruger made this specifically to make it more AR15 like and much lighter. I haven’t shot a PSA AR10, but I do have a PSA AR15. They are great for the price, and I haven’t had an issue with my 15.I have shot the Hyperion on my SFAR, Virtus, and Thoroughbred Armament 14.5”. The SFAR gasses my face heavy, and I mean heavy, after just 2-5 rounds. The Virtus is noticeably gassy but not terrible. The 14.5” AR from Thoroughbred is awesome, little gas to the face but it is a little more “tuned” with a VLTOR system.
