I come to you today with a cautionary tale about Telus' Bring-it-Back program, Telus Device Care, and Asurion. A little bit of required background. I bought my S21 Ultra 512GB back in Feb 2021 when it first became available. It's now out of the 1-year manufacturer's warranty, but I also pay for Telus Device Care so I get the extended warranty.I know the parts aren't guaranteed to last forever, so I decided to add on the Asurion protection plan. My thought process was that getting a 4 year warranty meant the computer was likely to work as long as a new one. I've done technical repairs in the past so I thought that the plan was worth it for the price in parts alone.
