For every 10k shares I do, that’s 100 dollars. That puts my losses at 100-200 dollars per trade. Risk reward is important in trading. The nice part about trading this way is that a stock that goes up 2 cents is a 2:1 risk reward, 3 cents is 3:1. So very often my trades have very good risk rewards to them.

Here’s some numbers to consider. Most full timers (including myself) live by the 1% risk rule. We never risk more then 1% risk of our equity on a trade. On average, based on talked with others, consistent returns are in the 10-20R range per month (so 10-20% once you are at full risk).
