I have tried almost every topical treatment such as Sallyā¦ I was just taking off my gel today and I thought, thereās got to be a better way. I will ask the Laqueristas! I use a coarse nail file to rough up the surface really well, then I cut thin cotton pads into triangles, soak them in Gelish Nail Remover, place a cotton triangle on each nail, then put the little plastic clips on each finger. What I do use nail scissors for sometimes is for trimming the tip off of my nails if I want to shorten them, then using a glass nail file to file and shape the rest of the nail to the length that I want, but you could achieve this ā¦Gel or acrylic, the most important thing is having them done and removed by a reputable technician with experience. For the foil method, use cotton balls or pads and put your remover on them. Next, place it over the nail and make sure the entire nail is covered. Then, take a piece of foil and wrap the fingertip. Do each nail, and let them sit for 5-7 minutes.

You put a nice head of it on slowly. This is the finish topcoat so you want it nice and smooth. Nothing fast with nail polish is ever smooth so do this slow and steady.
