The "Steam virtual controller" setting isn't there, and my wiiu gamepad settings seem to be broken now too. I can't update any of the field for input. Also I tried reinstalling cemu through emudeck, but that didn't seem to fix anything either.
Use Cemu, not Yuzu. Use cemu. Try clearing your shader caches. failing that toggle barrier feedback loops. Although, Yuzu is not really a good fit for botw - you should be using CEMU. Not sure if it was SteamOS or Yuzu update that fixed it. I did not test all combinations but there definitely was a time where disabling SMT increased performance in Yuzu by a mile. Like making BotW playable, Links Awakening running at 60 etc.

Make sure Cemu opens in desktop mode, then in desktop mode "install" the game and DLC by clicking on the meta files. "Load" the game in Cemu and make sure it runs in desktop mode. Switch to game mode and it should work! That's the overview of how I did it. 1.
