I wanted to use one whip for my aftermarket head unit, in hopes of picking up radio stations more clearly and farther away. I’ve done 2 whip builds, one mid level dex, some arcane and int with frost and bleed whips dual wield. The second I did occult affinity, arcane build, blood flame blade. The whip has natural bleed, if you use Keen or Lightning affinity the bleed will not scale. so for Keen or Lightning go pure dex. Giving it the bleed affinity will slightly lower the dex scaling but allow the bleed buildup to scale with arcane. So for bleed affinity you go both dex(for damage) and arcane(for bleed).
