Hk 45c review.
Another have stated, I'd only own a 4-5" 1911's. Between the 45's, is say the Hk. I would also tell you to look at the hk45. Grip is far superior to the hk45c. Downside is its bigger and hold same rounds. I have to say that given the choice of the colt and 45c you've mentioned, is go with a p30 in 9mm, lite Lem.

It’s an excellent firearm but I prefer the full size. It just suits me better. $600 seems high for a used one since dealer cost on a new one is $600 unless it’s a tactical. HK45 Series. After shooting thousands of rounds through both the HK45 and the HK45CT, I provide my thoughts on the reliability, ergonomics and effectiveness of the 45 cal...I have owned the full size HK 45 for about a year and really like it, it's just a bit large for carry. The HK 45 CT is very similar in size to the Glock 19. The elephant foot mags are a bit bulky but they actually feel good when shooting. Recoil is very nice for it's size.
