There's no impact. They're both different applications even when filed together so they're not always approved at the same time. Sometimes i485 gets approved right after like same day or within a couple days or so.I'm a naturalized US citizen and filed a form I-130 petition for alien relative for my mother on the November 19, 2019. The last case status update was on October 5, 2020, stating: "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS. As of October 5, 2020, we are actively reviewing your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number -----.Aug 2022: Filed standalone I-130 and received notice of receipt in two weeks and "actively reviewing" status. March 2023: filed for K3. April and May 2023: asked congresswomen's office to inquire. We aren't sure if they actually did because we never received any confirmation. Then after 4 months, on Dec 9, 2021 the status of my case changed to "case is being actively reviewed by uscis". I checked many online resource. Some cases got approved only a few days after "actively review" and some cases are still waiting since months and years.
Hello, I wasn't able to find any answers for i130 F2B category so far so decided to post this. The application was lodged by US citizen mother for unmarried son over 21 years of age. As of April 2021, the case is under 'actively reviewing' (AR) status.In my process it was like that after we submitted, than they "updated" some months later, but same "actively reviewed, just changing dates for another one time. 03/05/24 I-130+I-485 concurrent filler here, still waiting for receipt notices on the mail.
