In a true side by side comparison, I went with S.A. Plus, even though I was prepared to spend the extra money on the Staccato, the difference was nearly close to 1k at the store. Cajunized P01 and S2C feel extremely similar, but I would actually say the S2C is slightly smoother shooting than the P01. Staccato XC really worth it? The Staccato XC is a great firearm obviously but the price tag is steep and the competition has caught up. Staccato has made the 2011 space what it is today. If you got one and love it that’s awesome.The P is going to be much more shootable than almost anything else out there. A 9mm 2011 is already on the low end of recoil. I would go with the P. The optics ready slide and flush fit compensator look really cool on the XC, but $3600 seems a bit steep for that. It depends how patient you are or how badly you need the gun. I never resell, so value there doesn't help, and grip in handling those without don't seem a problem at all.I objectively love my C2. I have a bit of experience with firearms and have carried used several flavors. I am not saying the C2 is the best 2011 but I will say it is my favorite 2011 to carry and it is the gun I chose over a Wilson 1911, Wilson edcx9, Glock 21 (non fancy custom) Nighthawk.

Yay! this is 40 rounds total. 20 rounds through the Staccato P and 20 through the CS. My wife and I shot 10 rounds each through each gun at 10 yards. The head shots are her groups.

A $2500 gun is the least of my worries if I have to use it in self defense. They're not that expensive for a 2011, I don't have one but I'd say they're probably worth it- especially if you qualify for the mil/le 15% off + 6 mags deal.
