Dec 19, 2010 · The big issue with these this time of the year is people using the wrong oil for the engine oil injection pump and it clogging up the works so they do not want to run until they are very warm. #1 · Jan 4, 2016. I have 2003 KFX 50 that my brothers kids used. Quad has about 25-30 hours on it. Was running fine, put away for the winter and would not start. Even with starting fluid. Has spark. Cleaned the carb and installed a new carb kit. Set the float. Still no pop, even with starting fluid.

Replaced plug good spark put in engine no bang. Removed carb thinking it was shalaked up but it looked pretty clean inside but cleand it with carb clean anyway.
