If you like the mid tiers, Warspite mat fit the bill. If you want to have fun seeing exactly what lunacy you can get away with in PVP, Atago can make a big mess of the enemy team but you can also get blapped if you make the wrong move. 6.Jean Bart is a fast battleship with 8 forward mounted guns and a speed boost. It's great for flanking. I'm not a huge BB fan either, I vastly prefer cruiser and destroyer gameplay, but the Jean Bart, and most French BBs, doesn't play the same as the typical BB. Kidd, Cossack - strong firepower, concealment, consumables, not great on the torp side though. Le Terrible is another option, but IMO Le Fantasque is better. Mainz - like a squishier Hindenburg with more DPM at T8. Bayard - strong firepower, high speed, squishy. Bagration if you want a tankier AP cruiser.
Tier 3-8 German BBs are generally good at brawling. The camping meta that usually ruins pushing BBs at top-tier isn't as common at the lower-tiers. Brawling died 1 update ago (10.0) German ships are good for brawling. But brawling in this meta is dead.BBs (my tank cmdr halsey also rides on Alaska) and CAs. Decent choice for Worcester, but his abilities and improved EM and EL are more valuable for others. Between the two you mention, I'd say Sherman easily. Pommern is okay, but it's not a great ship for randoms and the tech tree BC line does most of what Pommern offers anyway.
