My husband and I spent our honeymoon in St. Johns, USVI and as recommended, we rented a car and a week in a Villa.We stayed at Sunset Ridge Villas which are. gorgeous from the outside and in pictures, and have a great view of Cruz Bay.. They are also spacious and can hold easily 2 couples and a few kids.Grocery shopping. My family and I will be traveling to St. John Virgin Islands next week. My parents feel they need to bring a few boxes of food because the grocery store shelves maybe empty and we may not find essentials. I disagree and feel we should just buy all of our food when we arrive.If the roads are dry, all the North Shore beaches can be accessed with a non-4WD. You'll just be limited in being able to use some of the side of the road parking where the drop offs can be significant. We just spent a week there with North Swells and south/se winds. Most places were fairly churned up so viz was bad all week. The most favorable conditions were Francis to Maho, and Leinster to Anaberg. Pelican rock was also pretty calm, but winds much more southerly next few days, with some good gusts today.
