Jan 1, 2024 · The 1301 apparently cycles faster than the Ultima patrol but I never once outran the gun and it’s by far the nicest shotgun I’ve ever owned or shot. I had the opportunity to handle and purchase either one and I saved the coin and got the Ultima for what it’s worth as the patrol hand guard and loading port felt better to me. At about 2 pounds less than the Benelli M4, the 1301 does feel like it jumps around a bit more than a normal shotgun. Beretta 1301 Tactical Shooting.
