I wish they have put in a gun wielding NPC (not projectors) and melee weapon NPCs. It would be great for mods, the nullmen and security guards are so slow and useless. Given that we have the omni projections I assume we will have the possibility to mod in gun enemies, and I'm hoping some legend will mod in sword enemies. Seriously.
Better NPC's. I hope that in Bonelab the npcs have better melee and gun mechanics instead of just flailing at you even if its not in the base game I am sure that modders will be able to implement this to make it more enjoyable than only being able to be in gun combat with omni projectors. 29. 15. An Honest Review of Bonelab from a PCVR user. TLDR: Avatar levels weren't levels, the campaign felt like an afterthought, story once again made no sense and seemed directionless. Shotguns, vehicles, and general physics improvements were good. The PC version feels like it was downgraded to be able to run on a quest.

The mod page for Bonelab gets new mods quite a lot. Like if you said: “The campaign is short, story is harder to follow, it’s way more jank, and it gets super lonely.” Then I would’ve agreed. But you are mentioning problems that I don’t think are the problem. Also, Bonelab isn’t a horrible VR game. I played Bonelab via Virtual Desktop this (obviously) works, since it kinda emulates a Quest 2. So I've tried to play it native with the Pico through SteamVR and to sump it up it ...Check your SteamVR settings, go to Developer, and the Current OpenXR Runtime should be SteamVR, if it shows something such as "Oculus" or anything else, there should be a button that allows you to set it to SteamVR. If you want to make code mods, you'll likely need to learn C#, since that is what is primarily used by unity. But if you just want to make custom assets like avatars, weapons, and maps, learn the basics of blender and how those things are created for Boneworks.
