Here’s the solution for those who’s mic’s are still not working in cs2 but work fine for other applications like discord etc. I had the exact same issue as OP. I downloaded an app called “Peace” equalizer, raised my mic volume quite a bit and now it’s working fine. Right click on your sound icon on windows, go to recording devices and find your microphone.
