Jan 18, 2023 · Before the start of this season, my Mach Z tank was completely flushed and clean with a new fuel pump cartridge installed. A G4/G5 fuel pump cartridge includes the pump and a new sock filter. Just 600 miles into the season and using an external pre-filter, my in-tank sock filter will barely pass fuel and the sled starts hard, if at all, moves ... We could see the release of the 600 ace turbo with 120-130 hp, the 900 ace turbo will get a bump to 165 hp. That will dominate the 4 stroke market.

I come from a long run of arctic cats where I could put 5000 or 6000 miles on the motor and never think about taking the top end off. This track was advertised to weigh 39 pounds but actually weighs 44.5 pounds. This is still light as my 144x16x2.3" track that I put on my 06 Tundra weighs 55 pounds. Gear oil, 75W-90 or 75W-140. I just use 140 in all my machines but I think 90 was the spec for those years. I like to fill it as high as you can get on the dipstick. There has been a number of guys on here that have said there isn't a noticeable difference between Gen 4 & Gen 5 in the trail models. I think the Gen 5 in the Summit and Freeride is where there has been significant improvements. I have seen a lot of good reviews of the Gen 5 in the Deep Snow.
