I screwed 2 together for each pad. I cut a slot 5/8 inch deep with my table saw. One cut is sufficiently wide for the pinch weld seam. In my 2018 Explorer, "Sport" mode was totally jacked up by the factory. The shift schedule was the same as Drive and it doesn't want to stay in the numerically lower gears as much as Sport mode in the SHO/Fusion Sport.
