Currently, unless you are playing a ton every day and doing a ton of bounties, you won't really open an Engram every day, more like one every 2 days. Plus, they aren't selling Engrams for money anymore and I don't really see anyone farming levels just for Engrams just so they have some ornament or ship or something they want.
