Jul 3, 2011 · The simple answer is nothing. The shifter doesn't control the preciseness of the shift. That is controlled by the transmission. Every shifter for the C5/C6 is nothing but a straight stick that is inserted in a hole that is in the shifter block that gets fastened in the tunnel.
