Jack Darby, was sitting on the couch with his friend Miko in the Autobot base, playing a videogame, when the ground bridge opened, and Optimus Prime steped through, Jack looked up to Optimus as the greatest hero in the universe, he and Miko paused the game and went to greet the Autobot leader.
The huge heroic being Optimus Prime was stood tall and proud as he looked over the monitor on the bracket above. Meanwhile Jack was sat still scanning through the data pad, when he stumbled upon something he found interesting. Something referred only as a Sparkmate. Jack broke away from the screen when he heard a familiar voice from below.What they were sure of was how much slag they were in once they exited the portal and realised they were on the decepticon warship. Miko and Jack immediately scampered for cover, dodging between vehicons pedes. Their reactions were slow and lucky for them, Miko and Jack managed to hide temporarily. Jack turned to Miko.Confused and scared, the three kids spied outside, finding Laserbeak knocked unconscious on the floor, smoke coming out of its back; meanwhile, the roars and grunts from the two warriors were yet hearable in the night. "Optimus…". realized Jack, gazing at the two fighting leaders. He gave them a chance to escape….Jack sighed, grabbed his helmet and got on Arcee. "You can watch cartoons back at base with Bumblebee," Arcee offered. She showed no signs of her feelings from yesterday's argument. "Cartoons!" Jack protested, "I'm sixteen!" "And leave a note for your mom!" Arcee added, "She worries!" Jack sighed.
Something that went unnoticed by anyone was when Jack fell onto the Star Saber, some of his blood had touched what little of the blade was sticking out causing the Star Saber to react strongly to it.
