Mar 3, 2024 · Brake Wiping. I'm just realizing this, but i think the XC40 does a brake "wipe". I think its been there for awhile and I'm just now noticing it, but at low speeds after the care has been sitting for awhile, it sounds like its braking with the pads and not OPD/motors. I've heard the rubbing sound many times before, but never put 2 and 2 together.
Parking sensor bug. C40 Dash cam. Both our XC40 Recharges had Blackvue DR900X Plus front/rear dash cams. The installs were reasonably straight forward. The rear required a little work to snake through a rubber harness to the rear lift gate. The C40 is very similar, the front is identical, but the rear is a bit more of a pain in the butt.

People are saying that this has lots of stability improvements and some even report better range. Evidently, this update has to be installed by the dealer. Charging at 75-83kW on the XC40 lines right up with air cooled 200A cables: 80,000W/400V = 200A. So the car is requesting all the station has, and would start with the pack voltage low. ~75kW. And as pack voltage rises during the charge, charging speed increases up to a max of 83kW. 2021 XC40 Recharge | Bursting Blue.After XC60 you might find XC40 MY2022 suspension slightly stiffer. PHEV is well balanced on the suspension, no issues there. 2. 360 camera was available as optional equipment or included in higher trims.
